Marriage registration in Tamil Nadu is made under Hindu Marriages Act. Marriage certificate will be provided in the jurisdiction of the place of marriage hall or temple. In special case it can be done on both bridegroom jurisdiction nor bride jurisdiction. Both male and female should have completed 21 /18 years respectively and should be Hindu.
